The Book Depository.
I had a chat with a professor while we were waiting for a meeting and of course our chat was about BOOKS! I mentioned that I'm planning to buy books online and she told me about this website. It offers a free delivery worldwide and have an interesting collection of books and awesome bookmarks!! If you already know this website and have tried their delivery, please tell me how was your experience, and if you haven't heard of it before, you would really love this site!
Ive tried ordering books from amazon but I rarely find the book i want ,

Take a tour in this site, maybe you will find the books you want! I just ordered 3 books, I will how it goes. What's awesome in their service is that you get a bookmark with every order! I just noticed that, I'm super excited to get my package!

Now I know why it sounded so familiar once the dr. told me about it!!! I still didn't get the book I ordered yet, I'm having doubts if I did the order right or not :'( Let's see what will happen!

ReplyDeleteHi Nouf, I've ordered one book from this site depending on your advice and this is my first experience ordering on-line,so I'm going to tell you my experience and also want your advice, I ordered this book 2 moths ago but didn't receive it till now so I contact them and they sent me a replacement 15 days ago but didn't receive it either :( I'm so disappointed, I heard something about book retention in the post office, I don't know if it is true or not, so I will wait for some time otherwise I will call back my money,but I want to know how long did it take to receive your order.

Aww I'm really sorry to hear about that! First of all, are you sure about the address? Make sure you wrote it correctly. Are you Rasha from DAH? If you are using the college's address, ask the front desk if they received anything with your name on it. If you're using your own address, contact the post office you're dealing with! I always get my books one month later and sometimes less! I remember I received the first two books within two months! However, there are books that arrive unexpectedly early, like Alice, I got it exactly in 15 working days! It's no secret that we have the worst postal services in the whole wide world :( We have our own P.O. Box now, I'm going to try it out and see how it goes.

ReplyDeleteYou're welcome dear! I thought you someone I work with at the college, she has the same name and I thought that was her e-mail, sorry for the mix up haha! I'm sorry, again, about that! It's so sad because shopping with The Book Depository is probably the best book-shopping experience I ever had! Actually, my latest post about the moleskine's diary, I ordered from The Book Depository on Nov. 30 and here it was, sooner than I thought it will take! I guess you need to talk with the Saudi post center you are dealing with, and inform them about the problem! I really wish you could get the books from the site, it's amazing, I've never thought I would have all those books given to the fact we have some crappy local bookstores!
