Book: Paper Towns by John Green
When Margo Roth Spiegelman beckons Quentin Jacobsen in the middle of the night—dressed like a ninja and plotting an ingenious campaign of revenge—he follows her. Margo’s always planned extravagantly, and, until now, she’s always planned solo. After a lifetime of loving Margo from afar, things are finally looking up for Q . . . until day breaks and she has vanished. Always an enigma, Margo has now become a mystery. But there are clues. And they’re for Q.
Printz Medalist John Green returns with the trademark brilliant wit and heart-stopping emotional honesty that have inspired a new generation of readers.
4 / 5
I didn't give it a five star rating because with every page I read of this book, it reminds of Looking for Alaska. The story of this awkward little guy who is fascinated by an awesome, beautiful and smart girl but that girl is so mysterious and he wants to unravel all her mystery. I felt a kind of repetition, nevertheless, the book was somewhat enjoyable and funny. I really liked how realistic the character of Quentin is, which is the best part of this book aside of Ben's humor. All in all, it's a book that you will enjoy reading, hence Looking for Alaska's similarity, and a book that you'd want to have in your collection. I recommend this book, and if you have already read Looking for Alaska, I advise you to block it off your mind while you're reading Paper Towns.
